Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

The journey starts with a pick-up from the Mohamed 5 Airport in Casablanca, which is the largest city in Morocco and is recognized as the economic hub.

Exploring the vibrant city of Casablanca, known for its modern architecture, bustling streets, and iconic landmarks such as the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, situated on the western coastline of the city, offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Finally, the day concludes with an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca - Volubilis - Fes

After breakfast, we depart from Casablanca to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis which is a partially-excavated Berber-Roman city in Morocco, situated near the city of Meknes and has been the capital of the Kingdom of Mauretania from the time of King Juba II, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, these ruins are exceptionally well-preserved.

 They boast numerous exquisite mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways scattered throughout the site.

 After strolling through the ruins, we continue our journey, traveling 30 kilometers to reach Meknes, a beautiful city that was founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids as a military settlement, and it’s one of the 4 imperial cities in Morocco. Here, you will visit fabulous landmarks such as Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.

Afterward, we proceed to Fes, where we will spend the night in a traditional Riad.

Day 3: Fes - Cedar Forest - Ifran - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we’ll start bright and early with a pickup from your Fes hotel. Then, our adventure begins with a drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. First up is Ifrane, a charming town known for its clean streets and unique Swiss-inspired architecture.

Next, we’ll head to the Cedar Forest where you can meet and snap photos with playful wild monkeys known as the Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, we’ll continue our journey to Merzouga, passing by the Tizi N Talghemt pass, Errachidia Barrage, and the scenic Ziz Valley.

Upon arrival in Merzouga, a camel trek awaits! enjoy the desert tranquility as you ride towards the dunes for a wonderful sunset. Then, spend an overnight at a desert camp in the heart of the golden dunes, where you’ll be welcomed with refreshing mint tea. To cap off the night, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by amazing Berber drum performances under a sky full of stars.

Day 4: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Boumalne Dades

After breakfast, we leave the Merzouga desert and depart to the Hollywood of Africa Ouarzazate. First, we will make a stop in Rissani, a town that has historical significance which is the birthplace of the current dynasty that governs the kingdom of Morocco nowadays, The Alaouite. The mausoleum of the dynasty’s founder Moulay Ali Cherif is in this beautiful town.

Later, We will pause at the Draa Valley, recognized as one of Morocco’s lengthiest rivers, originating in the High Atlas Mountains and ultimately flowing into the Atlantic Ocean. known for its date palm trees, the valley serves as an important water source for agricultural fields. Afterward, the tour continues to Ouarzazate, passing through ancient fortified villages called ksour and historic kasbahs. Finally, we arrive in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the Hollywood of Africa, where we spend the night in a hotel.

Day 5: Dades Gorges - Valley of Roses - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Our final day of the tour departs from the Dades Gorges to the red city of Marrakesh. We’ll drive through the fragrant Valley of Roses, Skoura’s verdant palm groves, and the cinematic city of Ouarzazate. Here, you can peek into the world of filmmaking at the studios and explore the historic Kasbah of Taourirt.

Next, a stop will be made to visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, his fortified village, nestled in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, boasts centuries-old mud-brick buildings enclosed by towering walls. It’s also a Hollywood regular, having been featured in movies like “The Jewel of the Nile” and “Gladiator.”

After lunch in the Kasbah, we’ll traverse the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, stopping at a viewpoint to admire the winding road.
