Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades

Day 2: Boumalne Dades - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert

After a yummy traditional breakfast, we commence the second day of the tour toward the Merzouga desert famous for its golden dunes.

First, a stop will be made in Todra Gorges to stroll in the wall canyons that reach heights of up to 300 meters (984 feet), in addition, it is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

First, we head to visit the nomadic families, people who are still living a simple lifestyle residing in traditional woven tents and are well-known for their super warm hospitality to tourists and strangers.

Next, visit the ancient Eyeliner Mines or Kohl Mines which is an age-old eye cosmetic that has been extensively employed in the Middle East, Mediterranean, South Asia, and the Horn of Africa, enhancing the allure of eyes for both men and women and it was believed that it protects from the sunshine.

Furthermore, visit the Khamlia village, located at the edge of the dunes, most of its inhabitants are from sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Niger, and Sudan performing traditional Gnawa music using unique instruments such as the guembri, drums, and castanets known as clackers.
